Sen is HOT Philippines’ Training Manager. She joined HOT in December 2019. Her role is to disseminate and promote the use of OpenStreetMap especially for humanitarian efforts, and to train prospective and existing mappers to their fullest potential so they can eventually lead their own mapping communities. Working for HOT enables her to bring together her passions for mapping, the environment, and urban planning.
Prior to working with HOT, she has worked as a Team Lead for Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation’s Retail Network Research. She has also engaged in several other research and community development projects focusing on site development, ecological profiling, and impacts assessment, among others.
Sen holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Ecology major in Human Settlements Planning, and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning both from the University of the Philippines.
