Sen is HOT Philippines’s Training Manager. Her role is to disseminate and promote the use of OpenStreetMap especially for humanitarian efforts, and to train prospective and existing mappers to their fullest potential so they can eventually lead their own mapping communities.
Prior to working with HOT, as a polymath, she has worked as a Team Lead for Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation’s Retail Network Research. She has also engaged in several other research and community development projects focusing on site development, ecological profiling, and impacts assessment among others. She also interned for the Philippine Committee of the International Council on Monuments & Sites (ICOMOS) and has also worked in the Office of the Undersecretary of National Defense as an Administrative Officer. Sen holds a degree in Human Ecology major in Human Settlements Planning from the University of the Philippines Los Baños. While in university, she served as Chief Executive Planner or the President of the UP Society of Human Settlements Planners, where she co-spearheaded Environmental Youth Conference 2017, a national conference for the youth focusing on building climate resilient communities.
