Gaurav is a Geomatics Engineer from Nepal with great interest in open data and Open Source Technology. He has been contributing to and advocating the use of OpenStreetMap data since 2018. He is HOT Data Quality Intern 2022 and has led GESAN, a YouthMapper’s Inaugural chapter motivating youths in contributing for open data and its accessibility. He believes that a small contribution from each individual can bring a great impact on the community. Currently he is working as a GIS Coordinator at People in Need leveraging the use of citizen science and OSM for climate change adoption and disaster risk management.
