Rebecca is the Volunteer Engagement Coordinator at the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT) ESA Hub, working in partnership and community teams. Passionate about building the capacity of young people and communities in open mapping tools, she works with volunteers and youth in local OpenStreetMap communities, YouthMappers, and global contributors to advance open mapping for humanitarian impact. She coordinates training, skill sharing, and peer-to-peer initiatives that strengthen collaboration across local communities mapping in solidarity. Her work focuses on inclusive participation, contributor recognition, and ensuring community members have the technical support needed to create open geospatial data that matters to them and solve their local problems for effective response and support long-term resilience.
