Shamillah Ssekandi Nassozi

Shamillah Nassozi is passionate about the use of geospatial data in development and disaster response. She leads HOT’s technical training to refugees, humanitarian and local government partners in Uganda. She is also a YouthMappers Alumni and volunteered with HOT before joining HOT in 2018. Shamillah is an active member of the OpenStreetMap community in Uganda and has carried out several GIS workshops and mapathons to foster the community’s growth and use of free open-source tools.
