Humanitarian Mapping Brigade Member / Colombia
Forestry Engineer from the National University of Colombia, Medellín campus. Junior researcher at the Urban and Regional Studies Group (GEUR) of the Faculty of Architecture and member of the SAGEMA research group (Geospatial Analysis and Environment) of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences. His work focuses on urban trees, social and political cartography, citizen science, sustainable mobility, participatory land-use planning, community-based risk management, and environmental education.
He is an active member of the OpenStreetMap Colombia community, a volunteer organizer of State of the Map LATAM 2024 and 2025, a member of the Open Mapping Brigade, and part of the international YouthMappers network. He also volunteers in youth-led movements focused on geosciences, risk management, and environmental protection.
