Marcella Ondeyo joins the ESA Hub as a People and Operations Specialist, bringing a wealth of expertise in HR, travel, events, procurement, budget monitoring and stakeholder management. With over 5 years of experience, including significant tenures at the United Nations World Food Programme and in the public sector, she specializes in streamlining the operational processes that keep humanitarian projects moving.
Her professional background spans coordination across East and Southern Africa (Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania and South Africa), West Africa (Nigeria) and Europe and Oceania (Rome, Norway and New Zealand) allowing her to navigate complex international operations with ease. As a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP), Marcella is dedicated to fostering a supportive environment for the HOT community, ensuring that operations across the East and Southern Africa region are efficient, transparent and people-centered.
