Bio
Atiya is an able strategist with a visionary and dynamic approach toward impact and change using the power of advocacy and communications. She has worked in the social impact sector in India for more than a decade across a wide range of development programs including gender, health, water and sanitation, and convergence of government systems.
Atiya has led communications for BBC Media Action, GIZ, UNICEF, the Ministry of Rural Development (Government of India), and several other high-impact brands. Atiya is a Salzburg Global Fellow and loves to support collaboration and share innovations to co-create solutions toward the vision of creating an inclusive, equal, equitable, and sustainable society. An avid reader and a certified yoga enthusiast, Atiya loves exploring new cultures and exchanging experiences with people.
