David Lemayian is a technologist and AI strategist applying tech to research, policy, and social impact.
David brings over a decade of experience in open data, civic technology, and government advisory across Africa. As former Chief Technology Officer and Executive Director of Code for Africa, he led multi-disciplinary teams and built digital infrastructure serving millions of citizens. Additionally, he has held roles supporting and advising research institutions, heads of state offices, government ministries, and policy makers on open source technologies and artificial intelligence.
