Shazmane joined HOT as Global Projects Manager. She is passionate about using data for humanitarian actions and developing resilience. She studied in Montreal in GIS and land-use planning and have since applied her skills in diverse context in Niger, Tanzania and Afghanistan.

With ‘Community Mapping for a Resilient Bamako’, HOT was able to contribute to data sharing, raise awareness of flooding, and build the capacity of the community for the collection and use of flood risk data.
